Surfas Los Angeles

The first ever cooking throw down in the Test Kitchen is coming to Surfas in Culver City. See who really knows their way around winter vegies. Will it be Nate ‘No Slouch In the Kitchen’ Peitso of Maggie’s Farm or Sherie ’Chef to the Stars’ Farah. This will be a two round, all out cooking showdown.

“A Sustainable Kitchen” will pick two sets of ingredients, from the Surfas pantry and seasonal vegetables from the farmers market.  Because of the competitive nature of this event, ingredients will not be revealed until the day of. Dishes will be judged on ease of preparation, visual appeal, and most important, taste. AND YOU WILL BE THE JUDGES,

As there are no recipes, be sure to bring pen and paper to take notes.
